VSP use cases · Government contracts · Contracts and invoicing

The Prompt Payment Act, and getting paid on everything else.

Federal agencies are generally expected to pay proper invoices within 30 days or owe interest under the Prompt Payment Act. Your commercial work and subcontracts have no such rule. VSP automates those contracts and invoices so you're not waiting on anyone.

The problem

What usually goes wrong.

Cash gap between jobs

Government pays on its schedule while payroll is due now.

Subcontracts on paper

Teaming agreements and subcontracts go out late.

Commercial invoices chased by hand

Nobody follows up until it's overdue.

How VSP does it

Prompt payment act, step by step.

  1. 01

    Contract on close

Subcontracts and commercial agreements go out the moment a deal is won.

  2. 02

Sign and pay in one step

Deposits collected when the client signs.

  3. 03

    Automatic reminders

Unpaid invoices are chased for you.

  4. 04

    Full record

Every send, signature and payment logged with a time.

Why VSP stays narrow

One job, done deeply, with a person on it.

Deals slip between the yes and the payment. A contract waits for Monday, an invoice waits for a reminder. We fix only that gap, and we keep a person watching it.

Every VSP service has a real person on top of the AI. They set it up, check the work and answer to you.

Prompt payment act: common questions

Usually through the agency's system, such as WAWF for the Department of Defense or IPP for many civilian agencies. VSP doesn't submit those; we automate your commercial and subcontract paperwork.

What is the penalty for late payment by the government?

Interest is owed on late payments under the Prompt Payment Act, at a rate set by the Treasury.
